TBOX LP200

Ultra Low Power RTU Techno Trade offers a low power RTU that is able to operate in environments where there is no power supply. Three models are available. LP100, LP200 and LP300 systems. With an extremely low consumption ( ULTRA low power ), LP100 and LP200 can operate on batteries for up to 10 years without any maintenance. While LP100 has digital inputs only, LP200 has several analog features also. Both systems operate on the standard PSTN communication line. Data are collected and stored into memory; the system dials up for database uploads or when alarms occur.

The technical specifications of LP200 are the following:

• Low power Datalogger and remote alarming system (« low power RTU »)

• 8 digital inputs dry contacts (0 to 12V compatible) for counting and flow measurement - acquisition frequency: 8 times per second.
Maximum input voltage: 30 VDC

• 3 analog inputs 10 bits that can accept:
- External pressure sensor: power supply 12V or 24V measurement 0-5V
- 0-5V with power supply 12V or 24V delivered during the time of the measurement (programmable)
- 4-20mA with power supply 12V or 24V delivered during the time of the measurement (programmable)

• 1 analog input 10 bits for voltage measurement -10 to +10V (i.e. cathodic protection).

• Power Supply: internal lithium battery type C (3V6, 7.2 Ah) on support (delivered with one battery, possibility to add a second one)
with lifetime expectancy of 5 to 10 years and possibility of external power supply from 8 to 16 volts (standard with power requirement
of 10mA). Sliding switch to disconnect battery when out of use

• Internet compatibility: supports statistical reporting by email and FTP (2003)

• Modem (auto powered) V22 and V22bis (possibility of V21 and V23 - optional) -TBR21 approval

• One RS232 port

• Two pushbuttons (Reset and PGM) and one LED (to indicate the functioning mode when PGM button is pressed)

• 16 bits Microcontroller with 256k bytes of flash and 20k bytes of internal RAM

• External Ram of 128 k bytes

• External Flash of 512k bytes

• SEEPROM of 32k bytes for recording customer data

• Battery voltage measurement (10 bits)

• Consumption in stand-by: 10 µA

• Real Time clock + watchdog
